Hide n' Seek
One of my favorite games growing up was Hide n' Seek. I played a lot with our godchildren when they were younger, especially on trips to the cabin. They found the best hiding places. It paid to be little. Ethan is now at a great age to play, however Daddy-o said Ethan would fail miserably if he were a real Search and Rescue operator. The other night he was counting while I hid in the bathtub (shower curtain drawn). It must've taken 10 minutes to find me - that's even with me saying "Ethan, over here!" Of course, he gets a huge kick out of the loud "BOO!" when he finds me. I later found him hiding under his bed. Somehow we got to laughing so hard I peed my pants! It only made Ethan laugh harder. Thankfully, he didn't pee!

Car Talk
On the way to dinner:
Grammie: Ethan, we are going to have dinner at a Mexican restaurant. What would you like to eat there?
Ethan: I just want a piece of chicken with NO spices on it. NO spices, just a clean piece of chicken meat. I don't want those green things on my meat. Gram, you tell the lady that.
Grammie: Ethan, when you order YOU just tell the waiter NO spices on your food.
At the restaurant:
Ethan: I don't want any salt on my food (to the waitress).

Science Center ROCKS
The Science Center has been overhauled with lots of new exhibits and more action for toddlers. The science guy is a stitch doing cool experiments you can replicate at home, the Natural Forces exhibit was dynamite (we shook like dynamite during the "fake" earthquake) and the airplanes were fun to explore. We even watched the IMAX movie about Jane Goodall. Ethan loved watching the monkeys! However, watching the monkeys brought up an interesting conversation. He said, pointing to my boobs, "Mom, is that all milk in there? I drink from your boobies?" Lord! All in all, another fun family day. :)
