Ethan had so much fun at a recent Octoberfest with Grammie and Grandpa! He was able to wear his Uncle's leather German outfit (30+ years old ). He won best costume so they gave him a brownie cake. They took pictures of him with the band to send back to Germany, to the beer company that sponsered the event. He also enjoyed a new favorite, bratwurst. Another event-filled day!

We LOVE Welsh Terriers!
We haven't had a Welsh Terrier gathering for almost a year. Ethan had just starting walking. While we only had Maris and new Airedale brother Archie join us this past weekend, we all had a dog-gone good day! Archie was so sweet. He tired Lucy and Skippy out 1/2 way through the morning. Ethan was running wild around the yard trying to get the dogs to chase him and play ball, to no avail. They were more interested in lounging. 
Apple Picking
We took a road trip last weekend to Apple Annie's Orchard to spend the day apple picking. Ethan had never been before and I have fond memories of picking fruit as a child. There were five different kinds of apples of all shapes, sizes and colors. Ethan had fun riding on my shoulders picking juicy apples for us. We brought home a 10 pound bag!
The City Dump
A couple weeks ago Ethan was invited to his friend Hudson's 2nd birthday party at none-other-than, the city dump. Hudson loves garbage trucks so it was the perfect location. The boys got a tour of the entire facility, including sitting in a garbage truck. While the information was probably too much for the boys, I was glad to hear that our recycling is still being bought and we should all be recycling more!
